Bio

I am a recent Honors graduate of Belmont University with a BFA in theatre performance and directing. I am from Portland, Oregon, but spent the last four years living in Nashville for school, and am now living in Atlanta, Georgia! In college, I expanded my love for performance and found a new love: Directing. One of my favorite recent directing opportunities was directing my Senior Capstone project, Last Train to Nibroc. Last fall, I also had the opportunity to assistant direct Belmont University’s production of Romeo and Juliet. Recently, I stage managed Belmont’s production of A Monster Calls. I also had the opportunity to work on my first professional production: Shrek the Musical at St. Croix Festival Theatre. I was able to assistant direct and assistant choreograph the fun and heartfelt production there in Wisconsin.

In terms of performance, last fall, I acted in my final mainstage production at Belmont. I played the roles of Jamie and Also Jamie in The Bookstore. This was a very unique opportunity because I switched roles every other show. Last year I performed in Belmont’s Frog and Toad as Bird #1. This show was a particular joy due to its elements of nostalgia and vivid music.

I enjoy spending time in the theater. Whether this be as a director, or actor, I find peace through the community formed in the rehearsal space. I believe theatre has the potential to be a vessel for change. In a world of such darkness, I prioritizes theatre that brings joy or educates audiences.
